Our exercise physiology services are run by independent exercise physiologists who provide specialised care in clinical allied health and wellbeing services. Their professional services in chronic disease management, injury rehabilitation, and performance and wellbeing initiatives assist members of our community to improve their health and achieve optimal wellbeing.
Exercise Physiologists utilise a comprehensive and holistic approach to empower, educate and inspire change.
Their services provide excellence in 'universally-accessible' lifestyle and rehabilitation medicine, enabling all Australians to reach towards their highest health and performance potential.
They provide individual and small group consultations in both the gym and hydrotherapy pool, catering for:
- Cardiopulmonary conditions
- Musculoskeletal injuries and conditions
- Neurological conditions e.g. Parkinsons' Disease, MS, chronic pain
- Metabolic conditions e.g. diabetes, metabolic syndrome, obesity, PCOS
- Cancer rehabilitation
- Pre & post-surgery rehabilitation
- Workplace and motor vehicle injuries
- Strength & conditioning and performance programs
ReferralsA referral from a doctor or allied health practitioner is NOT required, however you may wish to speak to your GP about a referral to see if you are eligible for funding assistance through Medicare, DVA, NDIS, WorkSafe or TAC. There are NO OUT-OF-POCKET expenses for consultations under any of these initiatives.HICAPS is available in centre and rebates through health insurance are available from your Extras Cover (depending on your particular level of cover). |
